Speakers
Rabbi Nachum Shifren was scheduled to be our speaker in September, but was called to New York City to take part in the observance of 9-11 ceremoneys. So this month he promises to appear to promote his campaign for U. S. Senate. The Rabbi is a most entertaining and energetic speaker, and if you think he doesn't stand a chance against Diane Fienstien, think again.
We start off the New Year 2012 with a most important and interesting speaker. Lynn Hauter is the newely elected President of the The Republican Party of Los Angeles County. If one wants to be active in the Republican Party in L.A. this is someone you will want to meet.
November 12th is without a speaker. We will resume the Forum after lunch instead. We will have lots to discuss, so come join us for the fun.
October 8 th Speaker will be Howard Hyde speaking on the outreach to voters in the Latino community.
September 10th speaker will be Rabbi Nachum Shifren, (The Surfing Rabbi) candidate for United States Senate running against Diane Fienstien
August 13th Speaker will be Mark Reed, candidate for Congress from the California 30th District. Running against Democrat Brad Sherman.
July 9th Speaker Stephen Frank publisher "California Political News and Views" His subject will be "The Great California Depression of 2011"
June 11th Speaker Peter Ford; Author, Radio Talk Show host, and Member 42nd AD Central Committee, and 2nd vice Chair of the Republican Party of Los Angeles County. Son of Glenn Ford, and Eleanor Powell.
May 14th; Speaker Kevin James, radio talk show host and candidate for Mayor of Los Angeles.
April 9th; Speaker Gary Aminoff. His subject will be, "How Republicans can win in 2012." Mr. Aminoff recently completed a two-year term as the Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of
Los Angeles County, having previously served for four years as its Treasurer. He currently is
Chairman of the Technology Committee of the County Party. Gary is also a member of the
Executive Committee of the California Republican Party and serves on its Platform Committee.
March 12th; Speaker Tom Del Becarro who by then should have been elected President of the California Republican Party. He will be speaking on the future of the Republican Party in California and what we can do to save it.
February 12th; Speaker Adam Abrahms, candidate for President of the Southern Division of the California Republican Party.
January 8th; No Speaker this meeting as the time will be spent on a meeting of the Membership to discuss plans for the year 2011, and to promote the image and "Brand" of the Republican Party. Very important meeting all interested should attend.
